I ended up with C1 and I'm very very glad I did. Although I realise I could have "spoofed" the EXIF data to fool Lightroom (after all the X-H1 has an identical sensor to the X-T2 with LR6 does support) I realised I'd have to move sooner or later as I'm simply not prepared to pay a subscription to Adobe. I was in a similar position when I got an X-H1. What tools would you guys recommend for the workflow I outlined above? I'm using a Windows 10 machine w/ an Intel Core i7 CPU, 8GB RAM, one SSD as system drive and one HDD as storage drive plus a NAS for backup, an a graphics tablet. It looks like Affinity's RAW converter cannot compete with Adobe's, and I don't know if Luminar's converter is up to par. I've looked at Luminar to replace LR, but it lacks a DAM, and I looked at Affinity Photo, but I'm insecure if I can continue to use my collection of LR and PS compatible plug-ins. I presently perform items 1, 2 and 3 using LR 6, and I'm reasonably happy with it, but as soon as I'd use any of the newer Fuji cameras, I'd need to switch to Adobe's subscription model, which I find inacceptable. Complex image retouching & manipulation à la Photoshop w/ layers and other bells & whistles.Simple, quick image editing à la Lightroom.Raw conversion for Fuji XTRANS sensors including future camera models. My workflow includes the following components: I'm looking to replace my image editing workflow, especially banning Adobe products from my computer (most of us know why). Forgive me if my question appears naive, but my research up to now has left me somewhat clueless:
